Exuma

Exuma is home to some of the most stunning beaches in the Bahamas. Tropic of Cancer Beach is a must-visit for its long stretch of soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. Coco Plum Beach is known for its shallow waters and famous beach swings, while Jolly Hall Beach offers a more secluded and peaceful setting.

The best way to experience Exuma’s shifting sandbars is by private boat charter or a guided tour. These stunning, temporary islands appear at low tide, providing an incredible place to wade in shallow, turquoise waters. Your concierge can arrange a boat tour to take you to the most breathtaking sandbars.

For an unforgettable wildlife experience:

Swim with sea turtles at Hooper’s Bay, where they glide through the shallow waters.
Visit Bitter Guana Cay, home to endangered Exuma Island iguanas.
Head to Compass Cay to swim with gentle nurse sharks in their natural habitat.
Experience the famous Swimming Pigs at Big Major Cay, one of Exuma’s most unique attractions.

As a guest of Indigo House, you’ll enjoy complimentary access to Peace & Plenty Beach Club. A free shuttle boat runs regularly to Stocking Island, where you can relax by the water, enjoy handcrafted cocktails, and take in the stunning views.

The Exuma Cays are best explored by private boat charter or guided excursion. Options include:

Full-day or half-day boat tours with stops at sandbars, snorkeling sites, and famous attractions like Thunderball Grotto.
Self-drive boat rentals for those with boating experience.
Luxury yacht charters for a more private, high-end adventure.

Our concierge can help arrange the perfect day on the water.

From casual beachfront grills to fine dining, Exuma offers a variety of great dining experiences:
